I first met Marcus (DJ DC Infamous) in 2018 on a group trip to Dubai where he DJ’d all of the Social meet up events. I also had the chance to hang out with him when we both did the VIP package for the Burj Khalifa tour. My husband and I had a great time with Marcus and at that moment I made sure to get his information to have handy when I was ready to throw a party. Fast forward to Oct 2022 and we once again met up, but this time in Curacao for a mutual friend’s 10yr Vow Renewal. I was a bridesmaid and he was the DJ. My 40th birthday party was only 2 days after the Vow Renewal in Curacao and DJ DC Infamous agreed to do my party ( I booked him ahead of time, but the schedule for us both was tight to get back). We returned on the same flight back to the DMV from Curacao late Friday night and in less than 24hrs, DJ DC Infamous had me and my guest on the dance floor partying All Night to celebrate my 40th birthday. Thank you so much for agreeing to do my party right after returning from out the country and for making my 40th celebration ( a week long event of fun, with the finale being my party) one for the books! We will be reaching out again for future events.

DJ DC Infamous (Marcus) was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding reception. He made sure my wedding guests, from all age ranges, stayed on the dance floor. He really captured my husband and I’d vision and vibe perfectly. We are both DC Natives, so Marcus ensured he incorporated music that sounded like home for us. From start to finish, his professionalism, attention to detail, and being super accessible and responsive truly made him stand out. He met with us several times to discuss what types of music/songs we enjoyed and to get an overall feel for us as a couple. He was able to read and understand the audience and knew exactly what to play to keep the party going. Our guests are still talking about how good the music was. We truly had an amazing time, thanks to DJ DC Infamous! Our friends and family keep telling us it was “the best wedding reception ever!”, and that’s in huge part thanks to Marcus.

Marcus was the glue that held our wedding day together! Myself and my fiancé had a last minute venue change and Marcus didn’t miss a beat! This young man is phenomenal! From my parents to other guests at our wedding, everyone commented on how great our DJ was. This year my family hosted our family reunion in Maryland, we had family from all across the country (NY, Cali, Texas, Fl) come to help us celebrate. DJ DC Infamous played an array of music from soulful music my grandparents use to listen to right down to the trendy dance songs you hear on the radio. Everyone had a blast and loved the unity circle at the end. I joked that it was the longest anyone in our family has followed directions but it was the truth! Thank you thank you for making our reunion a success!

There’s so much we could say about Marcus aka DJ DC Infamous but words are never enough! Marcus has been with us since our first year of business, DJing our first wedding and our high school reunion which was super special to all of us, Marcus included. It gave us all the opportunity to show off our work as planners and Marcus as a favorite vendor friend. Marcus put on a show that 2 years later people still talk about. Last week, I had a 30th birthday party and Marcus kept us dancing…literally all night long. I couldn’t have had a better 30th party ! We’d definitely recommend Marcus for your special events!

Throughout the years our chapter had some good DJ’s for our fundraiser events. Last year we found our great DJ. Thank You DJ DC Infamous. The Ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.. are still talking about your skills. We look forward to seeing/hearing you again at our Christmas Party on Dec 10th and our Casino Night next June 2017. Just note, you’re booked every second Sat in Dec until further notice. 🙂 Again thanks for everything and based on your skills and the word spreading; this year we’ll get the 400 guest as plan. Dj DC Infamous is my go to DJ for all of my events, his professionalism and his talent are remarkable. My guest always praise the DJ after all of my events.
